This came as a suggestion from Darshit and quite a few friends that I should create a space for my paintings on the blog. And obviously I really liked the idea :) So here are few of my paintings which are still with me! (I moved to Bangalore after marriage and so do not have all right now).
And a special thanks to Sagar who showed me the Diversity@SAP contest where I could submit one of my paintings (A sketch Imagination painting) and one of my poems. And which later got selected for SAP Travel Exhibit and a prize!
1) A Surreal Dream!
This was my first painting. And it has all the hues :)
2)A kind gesture
A colorful gesture which blends to form a painting and depicts the beauty in brush strokes!
3) A sketchy imagination
It shows an imagination of a lover who dreams of his lost love in a haunted palace!

All the are awesome paintings Vineeta. Looking each one of them bigger with a closer look reveals a fine touch in each stroke.
I recommend you do this more often and you never know where your destiny is! Keep up the good work and all the best :)

Oh my! They are so beautiful!!! I really love them! DO show us posts from your collection regularly! It's a treat to see!!!
Wow!!! Great work! I liked the Surreal Dream the most (Nature, after all). Keep treating us this way.
Nice paintings indeed and colourful too :)
2)A kind gesture , is challenging one considering many portraits and each in different way..
And I am anyway fan of 3) A sketchy imagination i.e. Devdas ;)
my goodness... I know that Darshit is lucky.. but now I can say he is very very lucky ;)

Hi Vineeta,
Again, great paintings. Incidently when one my colleagues was seeing the painting of the woman, he said her face resembles some lady in the office (not you). So I was wondering if you actually made it with this person's face in mind.
:-)
Brilliant Vineeta.
Simply awesome paintings.
Loved the second and third one more.
First one is also good.
Cheers
Great work!!!!!
All are good but I liked the 2nd one the most. A feeling of togetherness, unselfish attitude of the small kid while offering to the boy and others looking peacefully and happily!!!!
(Check my new blog post)
Nice paintings.... But I can see something in your paintings.... :p
The first one is made as if you're being guided by our drawing teacher (Prajapati sir). The second one is a kind of fairy tale.... But the last one is master piece (till now)...a real (pain)ting of DEV D. Specially the earrings of that women. :P Pure Gold...it is twinkling if you see it closely.
All my friends are becoming artist now. :)
Thanks to all of your comments! Its really motivating :) And I will now try doing new paintings too. But one painting generally takes 2-3 months.. lets see :)
@Sanjay: I am surprised to know that the face resembles anyone here!!! I hope she doesn't feel the same :)
@Ashutosh: Oh God I laughed so much at the mention of our drawing Sir :) But u r right in a way ;-)
